Makenzie Crane

Jazz, Contemporary / Lyrical

A third generation dancer, Makenzie is proud to keep the tradition of a family of dancers alive into the 21st century. Makenzie trained at her mother's dance studio in West Chester, PA as well as North Carolina School of the Arts, Interlochen Arts Center in Michigan, Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, River North Dance Chicago and Broadway Dance Center in New York City, where she was on a full scholarship. Makenzie has danced for Tap Team II, ASH Contemporary Dance, and has performed in several corporate events throughout the Philadelphia area. Performance credits include DRA's "Remember Project" and Broadway Dance Center's Performance Outlets in New York. While living in NYC, Makenzie served as a sound technician and lighting designer for numerous performances, taught in the children’s program at Broadway Dance Center, and judged dance competitions throughout the U.S. Currently, Makenzie is teaching at several studios in the tri-state area while pursuing her degree in Physical Education at West Chester University.
